易红梅副教授一直致力于农村发展和反贫困问题的研究，重点关注教育和医疗卫生公共政策对我国农村地区人力资本积累的影响。截止到2017年1月，她在国内外期刊发表论文62篇，其中SCI/SSCI期刊收录论文39篇。她正在开展的项目包括“我国中等职业教育质量提升政策的实施及其影响研究”（2016-2019）和“贫困农村地区村医培训影响评估”（2017-2018）。
