《发展经济学在中国的实践》2019暑期公选课

改革开放40年我国贫困人口减少了近7亿，对全球贫困人口数量减少的贡献超过90%。但截至2018年底我国仍有1660多万农村贫困人口。为何我国能取得如此巨大的减贫成就？新形势下如何实现脱贫攻坚目标？如何理解我国收入差距的变化？如何成功跨越中等收入陷阱，促进经济社会转型？
针对这些问题，本课程将首先介绍发展经济学基本理论，然后从自然区位环境、人口和家庭婚育行为、劳动力就业和迁徙、农村公共物品提供和人力资本培育等角度回顾我国的发展历程，总结发展经验，剖析进一步发展面临的挑战。最后本课程将通过分享授课教师多年来开展的大量试验研究，与大家共同探索如何通过提升人力资本助力我国成功跨越中等收入陷阱。
本课程旨在丰富学生在发展经济学方面的基本理论知识和实证分析方法，了解该领域的学科进展，脚踏实地的感受中国农村减贫和发展的脉搏。

课堂讲授（50%），报告（30%）和讨论（20%）

五、任课教师
刘承芳，女，侗族，北京大学现代农学院长聘副教授、博士生导师；北京大学中国农业政策研究中心研究员。2008年获美国加州大学（University of California，Davis）农业与资源经济学博士学位，主要从事城乡协调发展中农村人力资本和公共基础设施的管理政策与影响评估研究，重点关注农村教育与健康。迄今在国内外发表学术论文90多篇，其中一半以上为SCI/SSCI论文，包括 Journal of Development Economics， Journal of Labor Economics , Economics of Education Review ， American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene 等相关领域的知名期刊。目前在北京大学开设有2门公选课：《影响评估方法及其应用》和《发展经济学在中国的实践》（英文）；1门研究生专业基础课：《应用微观计量经济学》；1门研究生专业课《发展经济学专题》。
