    北京大学现代农学院教授,中国工程院院士,农业部动物免疫学重点开放实验室主任,国家转基因安全委员会成员,动物疫病防控专家组成员,国家自然科学基金委员会咨询专家,第七届教育部科技委学部委员,国务院学位委员会学科召集人,第十二届、十三届全国政协委员。作为我国著名的生物技术与动物免疫学专家,在重大动物疫病防控、食品安全检测、新概念疫苗和免疫机理研究等方面做出了突出贡献。作为第一完成人获国家技术发明二等奖1项、国家科技进步二等奖1项、省部级科技进步一等奖6项。以第一作者和通讯作者发表学术论文500余篇,获得授权专利72项,新兽药证书5项,研发新型快速检测与新型疫苗产品70余个,提出了免疫潜力、超级疫苗等新概念和新理论,引领了动物疫病快速检测、食品安全监控、新概念疫苗等领域的技术进步和行业发展。
